Spider-Man: Far From Home clip asks a spoilery follow-up question

As the hype for Spider-Man: Far From Home nears, a new clip from Marvel Studios’ next film asks an important question. Potential spoilers from Avengers: Endgame are ahead.

The post-Avengers: Endgame world is already almost here. Marvel Studios’ latest blockbuster tore apart the box office and featured franchise-altering events. Luckily for those awaiting the fallout, Spider-Man: Far From Home will arrive this summer.

Peter Parker and his classmates are headed overseas. Of course, it is not without drama, as trailers have shown interactions with Nick Fury and Mysterio, a newly introduced character played by Jake Gyllenhaal.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a global event, though, much like other MCU releases. They air internationally, so the promotion also ramps up there. That continued with the Chinese trailer.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, the clip focuses on “Who is the next Iron Man?” This is where to stop reading if you have not seen the film.

The MCU will mourn the loss of Tony Stark, given the images shown in the clip. Peter grew close to his mentor from Captain America: Civil War to Homecoming, Infinity War and everything that just happened in April. So expect emotion and grief while overcoming the tragic but heroic event that closed Endgame.

Is anyone capable of filling Iron Man’s shoes, though? Maybe not, but as the character closest to Tony, he might have no choice but to take the keys to the Avengers, especially with Captain America and Black Widow impacted by Endgame. The status of other Original Avengers remains unknown, so it is down to Peter, Sam Wilson, Black Panther and others to carry the load.

The answers will arrive when Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives on July 2.
