Will Krang Cut These Turtle Boys Any Slack?

As “retro Raphael” tells it, it all began with what was a typical night to him. He’d gotten into a fight with his brothers and stormed off to clear his head and pummel some crooks. As luck would have it, some Purple Dragons gang members were within his sight. Unfortunately, so was a mysterious energy which caused the sky to turn red. No, it isn’t the eighth season of the Fred Wolf TMNT cartoon; it’s a spacecraft from another dimension which unleashes legions of robots to anyone below!

Raphael is the first of the “original Turtles” to be kidnapped, but he isn’t the last. He and his brothers find themselves strapped to a massive machine, and hounded by a towering monster named Krang. Only knowing him as an Utrom alien, Krang is a villain the original Mirage incarnations never battled. In their universe, all of the Utroms were good. Having formed a new body out of an Anti-Monitor from Crisis On Infinite Earths, Krang has grown to massive size and seeks even further conquest!

Considering the “original” Turtles and their world as a founding piece of a greater Multiverse, Krang sees domination of them as ruling every inch of their reality. As if that weren’t bad enough, he seeks to merge it with an equally primordial version of the DC Universe, to create one Multiverse ruled by him alone! And representing this world is none other than Batman. But it isn’t just any Batman — it’s the Pre-Crisis Batman!
