Metropolis
While all of the places there were named above were full of deplorable villains and unsafe conditions, Metropolis is different. It’s a city that has all of the dangers of Gotham City, but their savior is someone who gives everyone who’s seen him hope. Metropolis has The Man of Steel Superman.
Superman is known for not only stopping bank robberies. He’s been there to stop plane crashes, automobile accidents, and any alien foolish enough to try and make a pit stop in Metropolis. Superman may have been beaten before, but that doesn’t stop people from believing in them. It’s because he does everything he can to make sure the people in Metropolis know that he’s around to make sure they’re safe. A personal favorite was watching Superman save a person who was going to commit suicide.
He flew over and did everything he could to let her know that life was worth living. He didn’t just grab her and give the woman a lecture about how she was making a mistake. He talked to her and, more importantly, he listened. He saved her by giving her the space she needed and a chance to be heard. It’s things like this that make Metropolis the perfect place to live.
