Peni (Kimiko Glen), Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Ham (John Mulaney), Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage) in Sony Pictures Animation’s SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE.

14. Miles Morales Will Make His MCU Debut

While Peter Parker is undoubtedly Marvel’s most famous Spider-Man, Miles Morales has spent the past decade making quite the name for himself.

Debuting as recently as 2011, the newcomer quickly became a fan-favorite character and, following the success of his big-screen escapades in last year’s Academy-Award winning animated epic Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, fans are now thinking that the character will show up in the next MCU installment.

What makes this theory so crazy is that it’s quite a conflicting one. On one hand, the timing of it doesn’t seem right as Peter has essentially just left rookie territory behind and is focused on molding himself into the best version of Spider-Man that he can be (not-to-mention dealing with the emotional fallout of Avengers: Endgame) but, on the other hand, Miles Morales probably already exists in the MCU.

“Wait, how?” you ask? Well, cast your mind back to Spider-Man: Homecoming when Spidey crossed paths with Donald Glover’s character who, at one point attempted to purchase weapons from The Vulture. Remember him?

Well that character’s name is Aaron Davis – better known as The Prowler in Marvel Comics and, later, the uncle of none other than Miles Morales. And to make things even more interesting, Davis actually refers to his nephew – a little tease from the writers that undoubtedly set up a potential debut for Morales at some point.

With that in mind, we have to wonder if the time has finally come to meet the MCU’s iteration of Miles Morales. Even if it is too soon to meet the Miles of the MCU’s Earth, there is always the possibility that Peter could run into his doppelgänger from another Earth because, well, multiverse, remember?

Does an unplanned trip into the Spider-Verse sound good to anyone right about now?
