Ghost’s potential
Ghost was one of my favorite villains in the MCU. A big part of that is because no one could have anticipated how good she was going to be. The Marvel Comics version of Ghost isn’t a fighter. He relies heavily on his suit and his knowledge of computers to get by.
Ghost in the MCU isn’t a genius like her comic book counterpart, but that could change since we don’t know a lot about her yet. We’ve only gotten a sample size of what she can do. She’s also a much better fighter than Ghost in the comic books could ever be, and also not nearly as crazy. Ghost deserves the opportunity to have more than one chance at being a big time villain.
In a recent article on Bam Smack Pow, it was discussed that Ghost could be the next big villain in the MCU. She may not have the skills to go up against all of the Avengers, but she could set some things in motion that cause worldwide panic. Putting her in the Avengers immediately would go against how Marvel Studios has made it a point to be patient with phases.
Giving Ghost another shot at a solo villain can show her growth as a character. It can also display how she developed her powers. She’s been gone for years and most certainly trained to be better.
