There are a lot of comic books that come out every week, and it can be hard to try and navigate the waters to find something new, or for a first-time reader, to find a good starting point.

This week’s comic books are DC heavy, as they take up the majority of the books on this week’s list. Marvel isn’t left out as one one of their mini-series comes to an end.

Age of X-Man: Amazing Nightcrawler No. 5

Writer: Seanan McGuire

Artist: Juan Frigeri

Dark Phoenix wasn’t great. However, one of the highlights of that movie was Kurt Wagner and if you were left wanting more of the Nightcrawler in your life, then make sure to pick up Age of X-Man: Amazing Nightcrawler No. 5. After finding out that Meggan betrayed the X-Men, Nightcrawler is left with the unenviable of trying to fight off the mutants who are under the mind control of Meggan. This is the last issue of a 5-issue mini-series, and will probably be the last solo Nightcrawler book until after they reboot the X-Men comic books, so make sure to get your fill with this issue.
