Amazon’s The Boys dropped another NSFW trailer and it’s glorious

What have we learned from the new trailer of Amazon’s The Boys.
The Boys dropped its second NSFW trailer. The first one showed all sorts of brutal, vulgar, and sexual things that we will see in Season 1. Everything you’d expect and hope from if you’ve read The Boys comic book by Garth Ennis or heard of it previously.
It was fun to watch, but it didn’t tell us much about the show. However, this second trailer gave us more. It combined footage that we’ve already seen like Homelander saying he can do “whatever the **** he wants. It also showed us what to expect from the characters and the series.

The first thing we see is Hughie wiping off the screen at his job until Butcher walks in. Butcher tells him he’s not going to mess around. He tells Hughie that he knows what happened to Robin. We then get a flashback of what happened.
Hughie’s girlfriend was killed by A-Train, who is a member of the Seven (their world’s greatest “heroes”). He ran right through her leaving nothing except a bloody mess and Hughie holding her arms that were completely detached from her body.
Fans of the comic book series will be happy because this scene is similar to what happened to Hughie’s girlfriend in the comics. It’s the reason that Butcher visits Hughie and the reason he joins the team. This gave fans something that lets them know that the creators aren’t shying too far away from the source material while making the show appealing to TV viewers.
Most of the viewers are just looking for a good show to watch. They don’t know about the comic book. So now we have a bit of the origin. What happens next is perfect. We find out about the rest of the team.
