Jessica Parker Kennedy spoke to Collider and said the door could possibly be open for Nora West-Allen to return to The Flash.

Remember XS? Also known by her real name Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy), the future daughter of Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton), if not, then hopefully there is still a chance for her not to be completely wiped out from our minds. If you have not watched The Flash season 5 finale, which aired May 14, take heed of spoilers moving forward.

Kennedy, who played the young “Little Runner”, Nora/XS, on The CW show, which has been renewed for a sixth season to air this fall, has hinted that her character may possibly make a return on The Flash. She had a chat with Collider about the horror-comedy, Deep Murder, and the fate of Nora on the previously–mentioned show featuring the Scarlet Speedster.

For a brief recap, the season finale concluded with The Flash and XS visiting Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh) in the year 2049, momentarily after the defeat of Cicada II (Sarah Carter). After a great battle against The Man in the Yellow Suit, with speedster father-daughter mash-up and Team Flash, unfortunately due to their actions in destroying the dagger, Nora is erased from existence once a new timeline has been set.

When asked by Collider whether her time on the show may be done or whether people can expect to see Nora again, Kennedy opened up saying, “With comic book characters, anything can happen.”

"“She’s gone for now, but I think that there’s always a way to bring somebody back, on a show like that, and I definitely would be happy to do something like that. But yeah, as far as I know, she’s gone for the moment.”"

While it is unknown if Kennedy at this point is subject to renewing her contract to stay on, she is now wrong in that regard on this type of show where character revivals are concerned. Reverse Flash himself has cheated death more than once. Plus, he made it clear he is the only speedster that has the know-how to do so. Given the popularity of XS, it would make sense in a way the producers can come up with a way to fit in her resurrection.
