When will Spider-Man: Far From Home release?
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home will release soon, but not on the usual day of the week new movies debut on.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will close Marvel Studios’ busy 2019, as Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame already graced the big screen in groundbreaking ways. This is also Marvel’s last officially announced film, although Black Widow is filming and The Eternals will follow some time afterward.
Far From Home is also the first MCU film to feature fallout from Endgame. The ramifications may be overwhelming and change the MCU as everyone knows it.
The date for this is approaching as well, as Far From Home will release on Tuesday, July 2.
Abnormal, yes, as films usually release worldwide on Friday, with preview airings on that Thursday. However, it is also Independence Day Weekend domestically from Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 8, potentially impacting the box office. So Marvel will carve out any ground possible with the early release date.
This is good news for moviegoers who want to see the film before their Independence Day activities, which usually take people outdoors, not for in-theater viewings. If not that, Far From Home should remain available to see through July and into August, so opportunities will be frequent at your nearest cinema chain.
Spider-Man: Far From Home takes Peter Parker into an adventure around the world, meeting the mysterious Mysterio along the way. It is the last MCU film of Phase 3, before the unknown next set of films arrive and set the foundation for the next 11 years of flicks. Look out for it on July 2.
