17. Star-Lord – Illinois
Illinois is one of the most popular states in the U.S. It has all sorts of things to see like the Willis Tower Skydeck, Magnificent Mile in Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, and, of course, the Cloud Gate “The Bean”.
Chicago is also known for the Chicago Bulls who dominated the NBA in the 1990’s. They won six championships. All six championships came via two-three peat streaks. Chicago is also the birthplace of some of the most amazing celebrities including Bill Murray (actor), Quincy Jones (music producer), and Richard Pryor (comedian) – all legends in their field.
Before Star-Lord was first introduced, the casual fan didn’t know who he was. Once he debuted in Guardians of the Galaxy, the world saw what he was capable of. Chicago is similar in that way.
There are wonders of the city that people didn’t know about. When people got wind of them, it seemed like everyone wanted to visit and even live there. Peter Quill is one of the more fun characters MCU. Chicago has also been known as a place where you can have a lot of fun. And just like Star-Lord, the people of Chicago are not to be messed with.
