19. Thor – Kentucky
When you think of Kentucky, there are two things that come to mind. First, there is Kentucky Fried Chicken, who has made southern comfort food a nationwide staple in the fast food world.
Second, there’s the Kentucky Derby. People come from all over the world to watch the “Sport of Kings” every year. They dress up in flamboyant suits and dresses and have a grand time. Kentucky also has its share of celebrities including actors George Clooney and Johnny Depp, who were born here, as was one of the greatest athletes and social justice advocates of all-time: Muhammad Ali.
Thor has a lot in common with Kentucky. First off, Thor is a simple man. He doesn’t require a lot to make him happy. He also seems like the kind of person who’d love to put on his Asgard best and attend the Kentucky Derby. He’d probably have on the best hat at the event.
Considering the Thor we’ve seen in Avengers: Endgame, he also might thoroughly enjoy a bucket of wings and a biscuit from the Colonel. He’d also probably wash it down with some Kentucky bourbon as well. It’s shocking Asgard wasn’t here in the MCU.
