42. The Incredible Hulk – Texas

Texas became the 28th state to join the union on December 29, 1845. Since then, it’s become one of the most popular states in the country.

Texas recently became a landing spot out of towners; people looking to start a new life have made Houston, San Antonio and Dallas their new home. Considering that Texas is the second biggest state in America, they have the space to spare. People come from all over to taste their chilli and barbecue, see the rodeo, and attend South by Southwest. Megastars like Janelle Monáe, the White Stripes, and Katey Perry were all performers who can attribute their stardom to their performances at South by Southwest.

With the phrase, “Everything is Bigger in Texas” you could expect that the Incredible Hulk would be the selection to represent the state.

The Hulk would love the rodeos and the people would love his childish nature. They’d also appreciate his willingness to fight if needed. The phrase, “Don’t mess with Texas” could be, “Don’t mess with the Hulk.” Since the Hulk is always looking for a place to live, he could easily find a home in Austin where everyone is accepted. Although, I wonder if there is a chili hot enough to make the Hulk tap out. If there’s anywhere a chili strong enough to make The Hulk tap out could be found, it’s Texas.
