Riverdale: Questions we need answered in season 4

As we wait for Riverdale to return this fall, here are the biggest questions we have as the hit show heads into its fourth season.

While Riverdale did partially wrap up many its storylines at the end of season, it also left some loose ends and, of course, introduced new plot points, hinting at what’s to come. Here what’s we need to know when the show comes back in October.

Did Archie, Betty and Veronica kill someone?! Was it Jughead???

In the final scene of season three, we jumped ahead to their senior year spring break, but the Core Four were not exactly having the time of their lives. In fact, they seemed to be covering up a murder, splattered in blood and burning their clothes, including Jughead’s beanie. However, Jughead was mysteriously absent.

Could Jughead have been the murder victim? Even for Riverdale, that seems absurd, especially since they already tried to tease his death once before. But if he’s not dead, where is he? And if he’s not the murder victim, then who is? Presumably, it’s someone we already know, or someone we’ll meet early on in season four.

Of course, the biggest questions are how and why were they killed — by accident, in self-defense or truly in cold blood — and what part did the Core Four play into it?
