Did Spider-Man: Far From Home reveal a storyline we’ve been waiting for?
Spider-Man: Far From Home was another success for Marvel Studios. In its first ten days, it raked in $185 million domestically, and is widely being called the best Spider-Man movie since 2004’s Spider-Man 2. It deserves every bit of praise that it has received; the story was great, the performers were phenomenal, and it felt like we were watching the Spider-Man from the comic books – especially the way he was beat down and kept getting back up.
When the movie was over, we were given two credit scenes. Both will have a major impact on Spider-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.
Usually, when an MCU movie ends, we’re given a cliffhanger that gets people excited for the future – there’s the scene that introduces Nick Fury in the first Iron Man, the end of Captain America: The First Avenger where he wakes up in the new world, and then there’s the The Avengers where Thanos makes his first appearance with his evil smile. Spider-Man: Far From Home was no different. It ends the most recent phase with two cliffhangers that are going to shake the MCU to its core. However, it may lead to a few Spider-Man stories as well.
