The Flash: Danielle Panabaker unveils Killer Frost’s new costume

Killer Frost is getting a brand new costume in The Flash Season 6 and Danielle Panabaker has given fans their first look at it.

The Flash‘s fifth season was undoubtedly one of the most game-changing offerings that the show has ever pulled off. Revolving around the arrival of Cicada and the return of the Reverse-Flash, Barry Allen and Team Flash banded together to stop the dreaded villains, but were unable to prevent the latter’s master plan from coming to pass.

With Nora West-Allen having been erased from existence and Cisco Ramon no longer a metahuman, the show’s upcoming sixth season will be heavily influenced by change, and from the looks of things, it seems that one character will be undergoing a visual change, as Killer Frost is getting a brand new outfit.

Actress Danielle Panabaker took to social media to share the first look at the new costume and, well, it’s really quite something. Check it out below:

The Earth-1 version of Killer Frost has undergone quite a few outfit changes during her time on the show, kicking things off with a dazzling corset and skirt costume in the third season before going for two much more casual jacket and jean combos in Seasons 4 and 5 respectively.

Unlike those recent looks, this one has more of definitive superhero costume feel to it. With leather leggings and a long trail, it’s somewhat reminiscent of the costume worn by Arrow‘s Black Siren.

It’s also much darker than its predecessors, opting for navy over turquoise, and is rounded out by a wonderful snowflake symbol on the chest and torso area.

If you recall, Cisco left Caitlin/Killer Frost a present in the Season 5 finale. Although we didn’t actually see what it was at the time, it was pretty clear that, from Caitlin’s reaction, it was a new outfit.

Well, Mr. Ramon, it’s safe to say that you’ve outdone yourself once again.
