5. The Official Cast Line-Up

With the confirmed departures of Emily Bett Rickards and Echo Kellum, and apparent departures of Colton Haynes, Sea Shimooka and Kirk Acevedo, it’s safe to say that the cast of Arrow‘s final season will look quite different to how it once did.

We obviously know that Stephen Amell will be returning as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow while Katie Cassidy Rodgers will make her presence felt as Earth-2’s Laurel Lance/Black Canary (formerly Black Siren). David Ramsey, Juliana Harkavy and Rick Gonzalez are also due to return as John Diggle, Dinah Drake and Rene Ramirez.

On top of that, it was recently confirmed that both Joseph David-Jones and Katherine McNamara, who guest-starred as Connor Hawke and Mia Smoak respectively in last season’s flash-forwards, have been promoted to series regular positions, but could we see any more additions to the show?

McNamara and Jones’ promotions were likely, given how prominent both of their characters were last season, but they weren’t the only integral vigilantes in the flash-forwards.

Oliver Queen’s son, William, was at the heart of the narrative while Rene Ramirez’ daughter, Zoe, played quite the supporting role. Thus, you would expect both Ben Lewis and Andrea Sixtos to also be upped to series regular positions.

Furthermore, given that Oliver himself is going to be hanging out with The Monitor a lot this season, as they prepare for the Crisis, it would also make sense to promote LaMonica Garrett too.

Whatever happens, it’s more than likely that we’ll get the official cast confirmation at Comic-Con and that, at the very least, will add some clarity to what is, so far, a very ambiguous season.
