The first trailer for The Flash’s heavily anticipated sixth season was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con and you can check it out here!

It’s safe to say that the upcoming sixth season of The Flash is one of the most eagerly anticipated TV offerings of the year. Not only will it kick-start the saga that will eventually lead to the “Crisis On Infinite Earths” crossover, it will pick up in the aftermath of the shocking events last season’s jaw-dropping finale.

The previous season saw Barry and Iris’ daughter, Nora West-Allen, arrive from the future in a desperate bid to save her father, but she was completely unaware of the fact that she was being manipulated by Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash and, as a result, she fell into his trap and was erased from existence.

The loss of their daughter will undoubtedly have a major effect on Barry and Iris as they attempt to move forward, but it will also influence the Scarlet Speedster’s attempt to track down his archenemy and end the madness once and for all.

While October may seem like a long way away yet, you don’t have to wait that long for a snippet of what’s to come, as the cast and producers of The Flash gathered for their panel at San Diego Comic-Con and unveiled the very first trailer for Season 6. IGN have exclusively revealed it online, and you can check it out below:

Much like last year’s trailer, the clip recounted some of the events that got us to this place before then showcasing some of the new footage from the upcoming season.
