17. The Flash

Whether it’s Barry Allen or Wally West, everyone loves The Flash. It helps that The CW show has made him more popular than he’s ever been.

Flash is quick-witted and has a wholesome vibe to him. His powers are more than just running fast. He has the ability to vibrate at speeds to phase through solid objects, heal faster than normal people, travel through time, and a whole lot more. Whoever plays him has to be able to be upbeat, friendly, and entertaining. At first, the pick was going to be Ryan Reynolds. Then I remembered a character from Future Man who’d be perfect.

Our Dream Casting: Josh Hutcherson

He’s no longer the kid from the Red Dawn remake or The Hunger Games movies. Josh Hutcherson’s role as Josh Futturman in Futureman has shown he can play something other than a guy in a movie geared towards tweens.

He’s hilarious and proved that he can be the lead in a project. Hutcherson has the ability to be entertaining, which is a major part of The Flash’s character. After all, you can’t have a boring Barry Allen or Wally West. It wouldn’t look right. Wouldn’t it be cool to see him as Barry Allen and Aaron Paul as Reverse Flash?
