19. Catwoman

Selina Kyle is one of the most important characters in Batman’s storied history. So far, the people casting her have been lucky. All of them have been great. Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Anne Hathaway have all been fantastic at playing Catwoman. Hopefully this streak will continue.

The actress playing Catwoman has to be able to pull off seductive and persuasive all while being tough as nails. She also needs to be convincing playing the cat and mouse game with Batman. She isn’t really a villain, but she’s not exactly hero either. Who knows, maybe they’ll actually get married in a movie.

Our Dream Casting: Morena Baccarin

Despite Morena Baccarin being older, she can play Catwoman since she looks half her age. We’ve seen her play everything necessary to be Selina Kyle. In Firefly, she was sexy, proud, and confident in her ability. We’ve also seen her fight when she needed to. In Deadpool and Deadpool 2, she took no guff from anyone. She was talking trash even though she was probably going to be killed.

Morena looking good with short hair helps too. This way, if they go with a more modern Catwoman look it will still fit. Morena Baccarin has the hearts of nerd culture everywhere before Deadpool. Her role as Inara Serra is still beloved. Which means there wouldn’t be a lot of people complaining about her being cast.
