27. Supergirl

Kara Zor-El is the cousin of Kal-El (Superman) and one of the only beings from Krypton that didn’t die when the planet was destroyed. Like her cousin, she has a vast amount of powers and a remarkable sense of right and wrong.

Melissa Benoist has been playing Supergirl for the past four years. Even cancellation at CBS couldn’t stop her as she enters her fifth season on the CW.

Supergirl will have to be someone who looks wholesome, but not weak. A younger girl might be a good idea. Someone who can grow with the character and play her until she’s done or the franchise stops making money.

Our Dream Casting: Erin Moriarty

The biggest part of this role is the look. Supergirl has to appear to be innocent. Performers like Lena Headey or Eva Green have the skill, but look too evil and ruthless to play the role.

Erin Moriarty will be playing Starlight in the upcoming Amazon Series The Boys. She already has experience playing a superhero with virtuous morals. Except, as Supergirl, she won’t have to become something else after a terrible experience.

She would be an easy pick to play Kara Zor-El. Erin Moriarty is only 25 years old, she has a perfect voice for it, and, from what I’ve seen in the previews of The Boys, she throws a mean punch.
