MCU: These 10 characters should never be Avengers

Any of the Guardians of the Galaxy
What we have here is one of the most popular franchises in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. James Gunn took an unknown Marvel Comics super team and turned them into an undeniable hit almost overnight. They represented everything people wanted from a film — a cast of characters that had layers to their personalities with stories that were both deep and fun to see on the big screen.
On the outside, there’s no reason why this should have worked. It’s doubtful that even Marvel Studios thought this franchise would do this well. Characters like Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot are now household names, while Nebula remains an underrated hit.
The Guardians of the Galaxy are just that. Why should they limit themselves and join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes? Actually, Nova made that ver joke in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. It’s true though. Their adventures take them to the furthest parts of the universe and back.
We will see them with the Avengers during the major events. When Galactus threatens to make a three-course meal out of Earth or when the Annihilation story starts (it’s happening), they’ll team-up. Nevertheless, keeping the Guardians of the Galaxy separate from the Avengers is a good idea.
