Which women from Marvel Comics would make great leads in an ABC show?

ABC has been the home of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD for nearly seven seasons. Who would have thought that the show would have taken off the way it did? The inaugural Marvel show has remained popular and at times, helped bridge the gap between Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Sadly, the final season for Phil Coulson, Melinda May, and the rest of the agents is on the way leaving a void in ABC’s superhero content. But since this Marvel show worked, they decided to keep the ball rolling. Deadline reported that ABC is in active talks about a new show. This will star one of the incredible Marvel Comics heroes to appear in a new television project.

There’s an incredible amount of female superheroes to choose from. Storm, Jessica Drew, and She-Hulk are just a few examples. There are more female characters that would make fantastic picks to lead their own show. Some of them haven’t had origin stories that have been explored. While some of the others are established, it would be interesting to see them in a new setting.

What we have now are nine women who would make great choices for ABC. Some of these names you’ll recognize immediately, while others aren’t as well known, but have a ton of potential.
