Kamala Khan was the epitome of a positive super fan. She loved superheroes and followed their careers like they were celebrities (they kind of are). This didn’t change when she got powers of her own. It may have actually been enhanced because she got to meet all of her favorites. She’s worked with several of her idol, including Carol Danvers, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. She was even an Avenger. As time went on, she became her own hero and realized that even Captain Marvel isn’t perfect. She started doing things her own way by sacrificing who she was.

There has been a lot of talk about representation in TV and movies. And there should be. Everyone deserves to have someone on screen that looks and feels like they do. With public perception of Muslim people being what it currently is, this show would be the perfect opportunity to show a stable and loving Muslim family.

Beyond that, Kamala Khan is an incredibly fun character. She does her best to enjoy life, despite all the random shenanigans that happens while being a hero. She can hold a show on her own without any other superhero. Her upbeat personality helps, but so does her powerset. Her ability to morph her body can be used as a tool to fight and also for comedy.
