Mystique

Raven Darkholme is one of the most despicable characters in the Marvel Universe. If there’s a buck to be made, she’d sell out a loved one in a heartbeat. In fact, she might have. On the flip side, she loves the mutant race and fights against injustice. Sometimes her methods can be a bit extreme, but she’s willing to help, with a bullet if she has to.

In 2003, writer Brian K. Vaughan (Saga and Y: The Last Man) wrote a series in which Mystique is a secret agent for Professor Charles Xavier. It showed how skilled she was without her powers. When she did use her powers it was magical. Mystique did things that we didn’t think possible. There was a part in the series where she created two working heads and multiple arms. It took a lot out of her, but it was impressive. She took out a bunch of people since she could see all around herself.

A show where Mystique is a spy would fit since Agents of SHIELD is on its way out the door. Mystique doesn’t have to be a hero (we’ve had enough of that since Jennifer Lawrence). If we’ve learned anything from Vic Mackey and Walter White, it’s that antiheroes work.
