Black Panther

We’ve already seen the numbers that Black Panther did. So we know people will go see the impending sequel. While he may have been the weakest character in the movie, there’s untapped potential in this franchise. In the comic books, T’Challa has a genius intellect, he’s an inventor, and he’s a much better fighter than we’ve seen. It also helps that everyone loves Chadwick Boseman. Making him the new face of the Avengers could be a good thing. Unfortunately, he suffers from the same societal conflicts that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel does. The good thing is that even then, T’Challa can add everything that Spider-Man does.

The easiest way to make this happen is to let T’Challa be who he is in the comics. He may be one of the toughest and smartest, but he has no problem humbling himself if he needs to. The best part is that the other characters won’t have to suffer. They’re all strong and incredible in their own ways. Making T’Challa better will only help bring more exposure to everyone around him. T’Challa trusting the warriors of Wakanda and the Avengers will show that even the great king is ok with letting his teammates be themselves. Plus, Carol Danvers will trust T’Challa. He lives in a country where women are to be respected for their strength — something she will love.
