The X-Men stories have produced some incredible heroes and villains over the years. Out of them, who are the top 25 characters of all time?

The X-Men have been one of comic books premier superhero teams for decades. They’ve been protecting a world that hates and fears them since 1963. And not just from mutant threats or threats TO mutants. They’ve saved the planet and the universe more times than civilians know. Maybe more than the Avengers

What started with Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, Angel and Jean Grey being recruited by Professor Xavier turned into over 100 members from the past and present. There have even been members that weren’t mutants.

Like the Fantastic Four, the X-Men aren’t just a team. They’re family. Unlike the Fantastic Four, the X-Men are outcasts who’ve found a bond from being different. One of the things that’s kept them fresh for so long has been the constant roster changes.

The switch on their teams depends on a plethora of things. What’s going on at the time? Are teammates leaving to try other endeavors? Some of them leave the planet or reality hop. Coming up next, we have the top 25 X-Men characters of all-time. Things like importance to the X-Men, comic books, movies, and pop culture will be taken into consideration. Also, whether or not they have any big moments that directly affected more than just the X-Men.

Honorable mentions:

Sabretooth, Daken, Deadpool (he’s more X-Men adjacent), Longshot, Multiple Man, Mojo, Havok, Graydon Creed, and Rachel Grey.
