3. Storm

Storm has had one heck of a time as a Marvel Comics hero. She’s been praised as a goddess in Africa, Queen of Wakanda, leader of the X-Men, and a member of the Fantastic Four and the Avengers. That is one heck of a résumé.

One of the many times she’s been in charge of the X-Men she challenged Cyclops for it and defeated him without her powers. Storm is a fearless warrior who has the respect of every hero in the Marvel Universe. It doesn’t matter if it’s in Avengers Mansion or the streets of Japan, Storm is recognized as one of the fiercest and most power fighters in the world. It makes sense when you can punch someone with thunder and lightning.

Abreast of what she’s done in the comic books, her influence and fame in pop culture and potential ranks her at number 3. Despite having one bad outing when she was played by Halle Berry and an incomplete one by Alexandra Shipp, people still want more Storm. They want her done right.

She’s an icon for women and people of color. She’s always been a strong woman who’s never been afraid to speak her mind. In a time where it wasn’t ok for women to speak up, she was made to be an example of not having to hide your feelings. If Marvel Studios can get Storm cast correctly, she could become the most popular superhero in the world.
