22. Domino

Domino is a character that’s relatively new to Marvel Comics. She first appeared in the early 1990’s and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. Domino’s powers to alter probability in her favor have served her well. Whether it was on a mission as a mercenary or protecting mutants as a member of the X-Men. Domino usually runs with Cable or a subsection of the X-Men called X-Force. However, she still manages to be an X-Man as well.

If it wasn’t for her recent popularity from Deadpool 2, Domino may not have made this list. She doesn’t have any groundbreaking moments in the X-Men stories. Yet she somehow ends up right where she needs to be to help out her fellow mutants. I guess she’s just lucky that way.

Her role in Deadpool 2 was spectacular. Zazie Beetz brought attention to Domino and Marvel Comics took notice. She ended up getting a solo series where she learned to use her powers instead of just letting things happen. There’s still a question of what happens to her in the future. The 20th Century Fox deal may have put a hold on the X-Force and Deadpool 3 projects. Hopefully, those movies are still happening. Domino’s potential is beyond bright. Especially with Zazie Beetz playing her.
