1. Arrow (Season 8)

Premiere Date: October 15, 2019

It’s hard to imagine what superhero TV would look like today if Arrow never came along. Heck, would there even be modern day superhero TV if Arrow never came along? The founding father of the Arrowverse, the show that introduced us all to Oliver Queen (and his nightly escapades in a green hood) will bow out following the conclusion of its eighth and final season.

However, while saying goodbye and wrapping up the storylines of Oliver Queen, Laurel Lance, John Diggle and the others will be a major purpose in and of itself, the season will be pulling double duty as it will also play a major role in building towards the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.

With Oliver having joined The Monitor on his quest to save the multiverse, it’s expected that he will be joined by John Diggle, Earth-2’s Black Canary and others as he attempts to recruit the strongest heroes in a bid to stand against the Crisis. The question is: Will this ultimately lead the Emerald Archer down a path from which he can never return?

There are countless reasons to tune into Arrow‘s final season, but none more important than paying our respects to the show that revolutionized superhero television.
