Did you know that these superhero actors were once involved in some of the world’s most famous soap operas?

One thing the entertainment industry isn’t short on is superheroes. Both the film and TV landscapes are overflowing with an abundance of do-gooder vigilantes who will stop at nothing to protect their respective city/universe/realm from any evil that dare threaten it.

With imposing costumes, super-human abilities, unique weapons and vehicles to die for, these heroes have always been presented as every bit the larger-than-life figures that they sound like, and this, of course, means that they’ve always needed larger-than-life actors to bring them to life.

As we’re living in an age dominated by superheroes, it’s understandable that many actors seek out a role in these comic book-inspired films because, at the end of the day, that role could very well end up putting them on the map… or, at the very least, enhancing their already-promising career.

Speaking of which, did you know that a lot of the world’s most famous superhero actors got their start on the small screen? While that might not sound shocking to you, considering that we’re living in a revolutionary age of streaming service and cable TV, were you aware that they did so on the smallest of small screens in the world of soap?

With that in mind, prepare yourself for a history lesson on some of your favorite superheroes (and anti-heroes) as we look back at those that once spent some of their wonderful careers in soapland.
