1. Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth is, without a doubt, one of the biggest actors in Hollywood today. Of course, a large part of that is down to the fact that he portrays Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

First bringing the God of Thunder to life in 2011’s Thor, he reprised his role in direct sequels Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok while also having prominent roles in all four Avengers films: The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War and Endgame. He’s also set to reprise his role in 2021’s Thor: Love and Thunder.

However, long before he was wielding Mjölnir in the MCU, Hemsworth was turning heads in Summer Bay on the incredibly popular Australian soap Home & Away. Portraying Kimberley “Kim” Hyde, he appeared on the soap for over three years and first arrived on the scene in 2004.

From a turbulent relationship with his father to being told he was going to be a father himself on multiple occasions (only to discover that he wasn’t on two of those occasions), it’s safe to say that Kim faced multiple emotional rollercoasters during his time on the show. We’d like to think that he found happiness after he moved away to the city with Kit and their child Archie.

Hemsworth, however, he went to Asgard.
