4. What if Killmonger killed T’Challa?

Erik Killmonger came to Wakanda with a plan — let the royal family know of his lineage, challenge T’Challa for the throne, and defeat him. After he won, he would become the new Black Panther and King of Wakanda. Once he was king, he wanted would use Wakandan weapons to arm the disenfranchised people of the world and help them fight back. He succeeded in all of that, except for killing T’Challa. In the end, that was a huge mistake. T’Challa defeated his cousin and reclaimed his throne. We knew T’Challa would come back and win, but Killmonger almost finished his goal. Imagine if he did.

As the phrase goes, “hurt people hurt people.” Erik Killmonger was ready to go to war with the world, and he didn’t care how many people would’ve died along the way. All he wanted was for the people who’ve been put down to be raised up. This may have been a righteous cause, but not at the expense of billions of deaths. Killmonger’s war may have even caused one of the world’s governments to take over Wakanda. If that happens, the mountain of Vibranium may have fallen into the wrong hands, leading to even more death and destruction.
