Before Arrow’s eighth season begins, let’s take a look back through each of Season 7’s episodes and rank them from worst to best.

The end is nigh for Arrow, as the long-running superhero series will return for its final season in a matter of weeks, before bowing out once and for all. That season, however, will take the show into brand new territory, as it adopts a less seralized approach in order to showcase Green Arrow’s attempts to assist The Monitor in saving the multiverse from the Crisis.

That said, the show didn’t get to this point without its seventh season, which was pretty game-changing in its own right.

Starting things off with Oliver Queen behind bars, Season 7 delved into how Star City responded to the fact that the former playboy billionaire was indeed the Emerald Archer while equally focusing on how he was attempting to move forward now that everyone knew his secret. It also tied in elements of Season 6 (with the return of Ricardo Diaz) and played a major part in setting up Season 8 (through the Elseworlds crossover).

With major events galore, the penultimate season was one of Arrow‘s stronger offerings, but it was far from perfect and ended up suffering from some of its previous season’s mistakes, so how does each episode stack up to each other? Let’s rank them and find out…
