Marvel Comics characters perfect for the horror movie genre

Blade
Blade started off as a character that very few people knew about. Those who did only knew that he was a vampire hunter. After the Blade trilogy, he became more than that. Blade was a character that people wanted more of. It didn’t matter if it was a TV show or a movie. He had everything needed to be a lead in an action flick. Wesley Snipes playing him was an added bonus that made the movies popular. It was announced this past summer that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will debut a new Blade, with Mahershala Ali playing the Daywalker. Blade is a strange pick for the MCU since he’s not a PG-13 character. Hopefully, this means Marvel Studios will explore the world that Blade travels in.
Blade is known as a vampire hunter, but he’s more than that. Blade goes after all of the evil supernatural elements. He’s familiar with all of the characters that may live in Monsteropolis. There has been a market for a monster universe for years. Something that could connect Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, and the other classic monsters. Marvel Studios could do it. All of the classic movie monsters are part of Marvel Comics. Dracula made his Marvel Comics appearance in 1951 and has continued to change over the decades. He and Deadpool had a bit of a rivalry for a while too. Blade could become a popular character just by debuting Dracula.
