More details about Titans’ Bruce Wayne will be revealed, but they won’t necessarily be about Batman.

Titans season 2 just aired its first episode, “Trigon” on DC Universe. After the defeat of Trigon (Seamus Dever) at the hands of his daughter, Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft), Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) pays Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen) a visit to reconcile their differences and discuss the reformation of a young group of heroes – a new Titans team.

Showrunner Greg Walker has informed The Wrap about more details concerning Bruce Wayne on the DC Universe show. Many fans began to wonder whether the Games of Thrones star would ever wear the cape and cowl. They revealed – through the producer – that rather than Batman, his civilian identity will be the focus. “He’s still Batman,” Walker said to the publication. “We just don’t see him with the cape and cowl running around, and the bat signal.”

Aside from Titans, Bruce has appeared in or will appear in several other projects. There’s the Matt Reeves-helmed standalone Batman film starring Robert Pattinson, which tentatively takes place in the same continuity as the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League. Also, David Mazouz finally became the Dark Knight on the FOX series Gotham, which recently ended its run after five years.

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have a tentative history when it came to placing embargoes upon their own properties in order to not mishandle the brand and confuse audiences. Walker, who is currently overseeing Titans, explained about Glen’s depiction of Wayne:

"“Bruce Wayne was a character last year in a huge way, in terms of the psychological battle that Dick was going through.”“To actually have a relationship with a live, walking and talking about Bruce Wayne seemed to be the next step if you’re going to do this in an emotionally grounded, psychologically real way.”"
