Arrow: 3 major things we learned from the Season 8 premiere photos
The first photos from Arrow’s Season 8 premiere have been released, and they’re very telling.
The long-awaited premiere of Arrow‘s eighth and final season is nearly upon us, and with that, fans have been very eager to find out what awaits them in the Emerald Archer’s swan song.
The season will, in a way, be defined by the Arrowverse’s upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover. An event that was foreshadowed five years ago on The Flash, the Crisis really came into play during last season’s Elseworlds crossover – when Oliver made a deal with The Monitor in a desperate bid to save the lives of The Flash and Supergirl.
The Monitor came to collect in the finale of the seventh season and, as a result, the majority of Season 8 is going to focus on Oliver as he travels through the multiverse, presumably to recruit heroes that can help save it from the Crisis. This will, of course, present the show with a ton of opportunities to pay tribute to much of what came before.
The season premiere, “Starling City”, is on the horizon – and with a title like that, you can rest assured that we’re all intrigued as to what will go down. However, before we find out, The CW has released a brand new batch of promotional photos from the episode and, well, let’s just say we’re in for one heck of a ride.
But what does it all mean for the premiere? Let’s find out, shall we?
