9. Teen Titans and The Wilson Family

To say this is Teen Titans or just Nightwing and Deathstroke’s rivalry wouldn’t tell the complete story. Yes, Deathstroke hates the Titans, he’s haunted the team for years, but this is a family affair. Grant Wilson had his own beef with the Titans.

Starfire ruined his life after crash landing in his apartment. Like his father, he’d become a government experiment gaining superhuman abilities with hopes of defeating the Titans. The hatred for the Titans brought Grant and his father together.

Ravager and Deathstroke fought alongside one another. That was until Grant died in his father’s arms. Of course, Slade blamed the Titans; plotting his revenge in a way that would cement this Titans/Wilson Family drama. Enter the epic arc, The Judas Contract.

In this story, the Titans welcome a new member into the family. This stranger blends in with the group seamlessly. That is until it is revealed that she’s Rose Wilson, the daughter of Slade. As the story goes, she betrays the team and takes up the Ravager moniker.

Another layer to this rivalry is Slade’s son, Jericho. He joined the Titans with the help of his mother, Slade’s ex-wife, Adeline Kane. Season two of DC Universe’s Titans will undoubtedly dive into this deep, bitter and tragic rivalry, but how deep will they go?
