Crisis: Tom Welling and Erica Durance reunite on the Smallville farm

The Smallville stars are teaming up again in the Arrowverse’s Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover and here’s the first look at their reunion.

Our Smallville dreams came true when it was announced that Tom Welling would be reprising his legendary role as Clark Kent/Superman on the Arrowverse’s Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.

However, our excitement multiplied when it was later revealed that Erica Durance would be joining her long-time co-star to also her reprise her role as Lois Lane in the crossover. And only a little over a week later, and we have our first look at their reunion.

Taking to Instagram, Durance shared a picture of her with Welling and we guarantee you that the memories will come flooding back to you in seconds. Check it out below:

Standing outside the Smallville Kent Farm (which also made an appearance in both last season’s Elseworlds crossover as Earth-38’s Kent Farm and even appeared in an episode of Riverdale), the pair were all smiles as they posed for the camera. And it seems like they were having a great time being back together, as Durance captioned the photo:

"“So, I was just minding my own business, and I ran into this guy😊 @tomwelling #Smallville#crisis #loisandclark. Laughed until I cried! So much fun 🤗”"

Not only does the return of the Kent Farm suggest that filming for Crisis On Infinite Earths has already begun, but the return of Clark Kent’s trademark plaid shirt also points towards the beginning of the epic event.

This year’s iteration of the annual Arrowverse crossover, it will be a five-part TV special taking place across Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman (while also crossing over with Smallville, Black Lightning and the 1990s Flash series).

Welling and Durance began working together as Clark and Lois when the latter was introduced on Smallville‘s fourth season. This marks the first time they’ve worked together since the show came to an end in 2011 following its 10th season. However, it isn’t Durance’s first time in the Arrowverse, as she portrayed Kara’s mother, Alura Zor-El, on Supergirl‘s third season.

Crisis On Infinite Earths airs on The CW on the week beginning Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET with a special episode of Supergirl. Are you happy to see Lois and Clark reunited? What do you hope to see from their reunion? Let us know in the comments below!
