Talos and his wife, Soren, were cleverly added to Spider-Man: Far From Home, but there are scenes in the film that gave away the twist early.

Spider-Man: Far From Home, the sequel Spider-Man: Homecoming, is one of the funnest MCU movies to date. Despite it being set after the events of the Earth-shattering events of Avengers Endgame, life has quite gone back to normal for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his supporting cast of characters. He’s not only mourning the loss of his mentor and father-figure, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), but he’s also trying to win the affections of his classmate MJ (Zendaya) while on vacation in Europe. No pressure, right?

When Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal) reveals he hated Tony, Peter must decide if he’ll succeed Stark.

However, his adventure gets hijacked by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders). Though they seemed a bit… off from their regular selves. The reveal that they were really Skrulls Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) and Soren (Sharon Blynn) was surprising but, in hindsight, there were a few scenes that alluded to this being the case.

To celebrate the home release of Spider-Man Far From Home, we’ll examine six specific moments during the movie when it should have been very clear that the friendly aliens were always in the picture.
