4. Ryan Potter

Ryan Potter may be currently working alongside two iterations of the Boy Wonder as the lovable Garfield Logan/Beast Boy on DC Universe’s Titans, but did you know that he happens to be a huge fan of Batman’s most famous sidekick?

Yep, Potter has longed to play the coveted role, and even lobbied for Ben Affleck to cast him as the Tim Drake iteration of the character during the veteran actor’s stint as the Dark Knight in the DCEU. Well, even though Affleck is no longer due to write, direct and star in The Batman, the film is still happening – only with Robert Pattinson in the lead role instead, Matt Reeves in the director’s chair and a lot of ambiguity as to whether it actually takes place in the DCEU or not.

Regardless of who’s in charge of the production (or who’s fronting it), it goes without saying that Potter should still get his shot to portray Robin. While he’s undoubtedly wonderful as Beast Boy on Titans, that performance has only exemplified just how perfect he would be for the role of Tim Drake, as he embodied the lovable and approachable elements of the character.

In addition to this, even though Gar doesn’t get into a lot of fisticuffs (not in human form anyway), Potter is more than capable of pulling off such a physically-demanding role – something that he highlighted with ease in the concept fight he created (during which he pulled off a number of stunts and expertly wielded Tim’s signature staff).

As far as Tim Drake goes, it doesn’t get any better than Potter.
