The Arrowverse is about to get a whole lot bigger.
After making her triumphant debut in last season’s crossover, Elseworlds, when she warned Arrow‘s Oliver Queen, The Flash‘s Barry Allen and Supergirl‘s Kara Danvers about the dangers of her city, Kate Kane is now set to headline her very own show – as she takes to the skies of Gotham as the hero it needs: Batwoman.
The show’s arrival will focus on the origins of the Woman Who Would Be Bat, exploring her personal life and, more specifically, her relationship with Sophie. However, when her love is kidnapped by the unhinged Alice, she takes it upon herself to save her.

With Batman having vanished three years prior, Kate decides that Gotham needs a new savior and, being Bruce Wayne’s cousin, she learns from how he operated and, in doing so, becomes the hero known as Batwoman.
The series will explore much of Batwoman’s early days fighting crime, as she battles Alice for the soul of Gotham and, on an even bigger scale, attempts to help the heroes of the Arrowverse stop the impending Crisis that will arrive during this season’s crossover: Crisis On Infinite Earths.
