Read Marvel, DC and more with Comixology
The beauty of technology is having all of your favorite Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse (and more) comics at your disposal. That’s why Comixology is a must.
We know you love comics. That’s why you’re here. Whether you’re a Marvel fan, a DC fan, or just a fan of some well-written, beautifully drawn superheroes, you need a Comixology Unlimited membership.
Comixology Unlimited is free for your first 30 days, then just $5.99 per month after that. With a membership, you’ll get access to a ton of free comics in their library, plus you’ll have the ability to purchase your favorite comics and sync them all on one device. Oh, you’ll also get exclusive member discounts (for example, currently, members get 50% off Dark Horse purchases).
But I know what you’re thinking – ‘Trying to read a comic book on the screen of a tablet or smartphone seems awful.’
Not with Comixology. That’s because they use Guided View.
What is Guided View? Well, we’ll let Comixology explain it.
“Experience comics and graphic novels like never before. When reading on your mobile device, double-tap on a panel to enter Guided View. Swipe or tap to cinematically shift from panel-to-panel at your own pace! Each Guided View experience has been handcrafted by a comic lover to make sure you have the best possible adventure, no matter how small your device.”
Comixology features content from more than 75 publishers. You can purchase single issues, collections, graphic novels and manga. Then you can sync your collection across all your devices – so you can read your stories everywhere you go.
Seriously, if you want to read it, Comixology probably has it ready for you.
For example, I’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for WB Games Montreal to announce their new game – which appears to be a Batman game featuring the Court of Owls. But I wasn’t overly familiar with the Court of Owls.
So I used Comixology Unlimited to read the acclaimed Caped Crusader run by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. The first six volumes (The Court of Owls, The City of Owls, Death of the Family, Zero Year – Secret City, Zero Year – Dark City) were all FREE. Even though the majority of the Court of Owls arc wrapped up in the first two volumes, I was so hooked I just kept reading.
Next I’m going to go back and re-read Ultimate Spider-Man. Which is also free with Unlimited.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Spider-Man and the early Ultimate run is almost universally loved.
Whether you’re like me, and looking to catch up on some older comic runs, or you’re into the new X-Men series, Powers of X, or you’re digging Absolute Carnage, Comixology is going to have you covered.
So don’t wait. Take advantage of their sales, too. Right now, there are more than 100 different Joker titles on sale. So get acquainted with the Clown Prince of Crime. Or, you can pick from more than 700 X-Men single-issues that are on sale.
Sign up today, download and read the comics you love. Don’t ever leave your fandom behind.
