Ant-Man 3 appears to be in development, and there are a few things we want to see in the final chapter of the pint-sized hero’s trilogy.

After much speculation, it seems that Marvel Studios is moving forward with a third installment in the Ant-Man franchise. The Peyton Reed-directed films have proven to be modest hits within the ever-expanding titan that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ant-Man grossed $519 million worldwide in 2015, while its 2018 sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, earned $622 million, pushing the series’ total gross to over $1 billion.

Not only have the films raked in their fair share of cash for Marvel, but they’ve also introduced characters that have become important to the MCU and endearing to fans. Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang quickly earned a spot in fans’ hearts, as has his partner in crime fighting, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne. There are also supporting characters like the now-teenaged Cassie Lang and the talkative (but lovable) Luis.

Scott played a major role in Avengers: Endgame, and there’s still plenty to explore in his world. But what exactly can be done with Ant-Man, Wasp and their supporting cast in a potential third film? Well, we have a few ideas.
