7. Anytime Sabretooth was on screen

Movie: X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

People still won’t forgive 20th Century Fox for what they did to Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (and they shouldn’t). What they won’t do is criticize Liev Schreiber. His portrayal of Victor Creed was masterful.

One of the most underrated performances we’ve seen, he was nothing short of terrifying. Walking while he clawed a car, slowly extending his claws when he was about to attack, and then there was the way he spoke. All of that would send chills down anyone’s spine.

When he visited Chris Bradley in his trailer, Schreiber looked and acted just like Sabretooth comics. Bradley said he wasn’t afraid of dying, Creed had the perfect response, “How do you know? You’ve never tried it before.”

6. Lost in the Quantum Realm

Movie: Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

At the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott Lang was transported to the Quantum Realm. But when he was ready to return, there was no response to his request. Just dead air.

Scott had no idea what was going on. Was he lost in the Quantum Realm forever? Did something happen to Hope? Those five hours must have seemed like forever. Scott was stuck in a new place with no food, water, or a way back home. He didn’t know if he’d ever leave. He knew that Janet Van Dyne was stuck there for decades. Would he suffer the same fate? He had no idea.

Thankfully, a rat saved his life in Avengers: Endgame.
