1. The Avengers Assemble
Movie: The Avengers (2012)
The Avengers came together by accident. A lot of things had to happen to get this team to assemble. As it was mentioned earlier, for example, Loki causing mischief helped bring them together. Even then, there’s no guarantee that they were going to stay together.
Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were at each other’s throats. Hawkeye was brainwashed into working for Loki. The Hulk was more unpredictable than he is now. And Thor just thought everyone was beneath him. Somehow, though, they got over themselves. Steve Rogers put everyone in a position to succeed. Black Widow helped Erik Selvig close the portal. Iron Man finished the job by sending the nuke destined for New York into space. The Avengers were officially a team and they had shawarma to celebrate.

On this day, they became the Avengers. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. They stopped Thanos’ momentum. Something that could have led to the destruction of the universe. This was also when they realized how much they could do together.
Sure, individually, they accomplished a lot. Black Widow and Hawkeye did so much with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. Captain America helped win World War 2. Iron Man fought terrorism multiple times. Together? The Avengers saved the universe. There’s no question that this was the most important moment in the Infinity Saga.
