DC Super Hero High is set to launch on HBO Max, and there are a number of characters that need to be on the show.

At WarnerMedia Day, HBO Max unveiled all of their projects that are set to premiere on their streaming service set to launch next year. HBO Max is another streaming service that is expected to compete with the other big entities in the streaming service market like Netflix, Apple TV Plus and Disney Plus.

Similar to Disney Plus, HBO Max will have access to their own superheroes. DC Super Hero High will be one superhero property that HBO Max will hope takes off. Elizabeth Banks is the executive producer for the series.

Deadline has provided a brief plot synopsis for the series:

"Banks, who produced Shrill on Hulu, is set to executive produce DC Super Hero High, a half-hour comedy that follows a group of students experiencing the fun and drama of adolescence at a boarding school for gifted kids. These teens are just trying to navigate the pressures of high school, but none of them realize that someday they will become legendary DC superheroes."

That is all we know with HBO Max just announcing what is on their streaming service so far. This will most likely be its own thing with Banks given complete reign over what kind of show she wants to make.

This series sounds similar to DC Super Hero Girls, a franchise with its own animated TV show and action figure line. The series centers around young heroes and villains attending Super Hero High.

If Banks has complete control over any character in the DC Universe, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to borrow some ideas from DC Super Hero Girls. There are a lot of great characters from the show and the DC Universe that DC Super Hero High can include. These are the 10 characters that should be included in the upcoming show.
