Batwoman’s first season continues with the fifth episode, “Mine Is A Long and Sad Tale”, and here’s how you can watch it online.
While The CW’s Batwoman has mostly focused on the saga between the Kane family, Catherine Hamilton (Elizabeth Anweis) and the unhinged Alice (Rachel Skarsten), it has also given the focus to Gotham’s new Dark Knight.
The show has prioritized Kate Kane’s (Ruby Rose) ascension to the top of the city’s hero landscape, as she has officially stepped out into the open as Batwoman – a new vigilante determined to keep the streets of Gotham safe in Batman’s absence.
However, as last week’s installment saw Batwoman battle with the thieving Magpie, Kate discovered that she couldn’t be a hero and have a love life at the same time – at least not right now. But that wasn’t the only discovery that came to light.

After being threatened by Alice, Catherine revealed to her husband Jacob (Dougray Scott) that she lied to him all those years ago in a bid to protect him and that the bones her company discovered weren’t actually Beth’s.
This startling revelation, of course, confirms that Beth may not be dead after all and that, as unlikely as it seems, Alice could be telling the truth and may actually be Kate’s twin sister.
This week’s episode, “Mine Is A Long and Sad Tale”, will delve into that relationship once more as Kate and Alice have a conversation about that day, with the latter exploring into what really happened to her.
