Cisco Ramon learns a horrifying truth in this week’s episode of The Flash, and it could have something to do with the Crisis.
Cisco Ramon has had quite the interesting year on The Flash, hasn’t he? Not only has he fallen in love with girlfriend Kamilla Hwang, he decided to take the metahuman cure and, in the process, retired from superheroism in the field. As a result, he stopped being Vibe and returned to his original role as one of the many brains behind Team Flash.
However, things get rather interesting in this week’s installment, “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach”, due to the return of Danny Trejo’s Breacher – the father of his ex-girlfriend Gypsy.
As the episode’s trailer shows, Cisco is left in charge of Team Flash when Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen head off to spend some romantic time together before the Crisis threatens to take it all away from them, but he soon begins to experience a blur between reality and fantasy – something Breacher attributes to his attempts to dull his powers with the cure.
That said, Cisco and Kamilla’s world is turned upside down by Breacher’s arrival, due to a shocking revelation – one that doesn’t bode well for a beloved character.
Check out the episode’s synopsis below:
"Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) faith in his ability to fill Barry’s (Grant Gustin) shoes as Team Leader is upended when he learns of a shocking murder. Meanwhile, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) trusts no one except herself to hunt down the dangerous Ramsey Rosso (guest star Sendhil Ramamurthy)."
Fans are, of course, worried that the shocking murder could actually be Gypsy.
A fan favorite character, Gypsy (real name Cynthia) was portrayed by Jessica Camacho, and appeared in both the third and fourth seasons in a recurring role. Initially a breacher from Earth-19 like her father, she came to collect H.R. Wells for breaking the law on her earth but, upon losing a battle with Cisco/Vibe, she admitted defeat.

She quickly fell in love with his adorable charm and the pair subsequently began a healthy inter-dimensional relationship. And after a year of sweet love, they amicably agreed to go their own ways after Cisco wanted more than a few visits with his other half.
As of yet, we don’t know if Gypsy is the person who was murdered but if she was, there is a chance that it could have something to do with the Crisis. If you cast your mind back a little, you might remember that Jay Garrick had a map of the multiverse and, as he showed it to Barry, there was quite a bit of anti-matter surrounding Earth-19.
Could Gypsy’s earth have followed in Earth-2’s footsteps and have been erased from existence?
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Carlos Valdes revealed that the episode would be a heavy one, describing it as a “clusterf– of emotions”.
Unfortunately it’s not looking good for Gypsy. Fingers crossed she’s okay!
