Riverdale’s fourth season carries on with the fifth episode, “Chapter Sixty-Two: Witness For The Prosecution”. Here’s how you can watch it online.
This Wednesday night, a new episode of Riverdale will air on The CW. The show previously returned to the network in October for the premiere of its fourth season.
So far, Riverdale season 4 hasn’t been fully aware of the story its trying to tell. At the beginning of the season, it understandably devoted its premiere to Luke Perry, with a heartbreaking but beautiful tribute episode. But following that, Veronica Lodge has cut all ties with her parents, the show has quickly tied up The Farm storyline and has even jumped several weeks.
Last week’s installment was a special Halloween-themed edition, which saw Cheryl Blossom and Toni Topaz (dressed up as Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn) haunted by what they presumed to be Jason Blossom’s ghost – but discovered that it might actually be Julian – Cheryl and Jason’s twin that the former apparently consumed. It also saw Jughead Jones temporarily sealed in a coffin.

One of the show’s other underlying narratives has also seen Veronica change her surname to Luna in a bid to distance herself from the Lodge family name and, by extension, distance herself from her father’s corrupt empire. After all Hiram has put her through you could hardly blame her.
This week’s installment, “Chapter Sixty-Two: Witness For The Prosecution” will see her get dragged into her parents’ mess again when she’s caught between the double trial of Hiram and her mother Hermione, but it will also see Betty sign up to brother Charles’ Junior FBI Program.
