Black Lightning season 3: What we know about the characters

This writer has saved the best for last because you’re looking at the MVP of Black Lightning season three. His introduction in season two was a slow build to his incredible character this season. Agent Odell has been playing everyone. He has Lynn addicted to Green Light. Jennifer seems like she’s beginning to trust him. Jefferson has been using the watch to enhance his abilities (that’s going to bite him in the butt). And then there’s everything he’s making the A.S.A. and Commander Williams do in Freeland. And these are only the things we know about. What else does he have up his sleeve?

Agent Odell hasn’t disappointed. After Tobias was locked up, someone had to fill his shoes as the main villain. Odell has done it better. We can see examples of it throughout this article, as he’s affected everyone on this in one way or another. The scary part is we’ve only gotten to episode four — and he’s going to get worse as the season progresses. What will his crescendo be? Whatever it is, it’ll be big and life-altering. Maybe this ends with Odell telling the world who Black Lightning is. And Here’s something we haven’t thought about: how will he affect this year’s Arrowverse crossver, Crisis on Infinite Earths?
